Meet Our Team
Britney- Owner
Britney is the owner of Escape Oshkosh and has been helping create memorable experiences for guests since opening the business in 2017. Originally from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, she attended Northern Michigan University and completed the Surgical Technology program before pursuing entrepreneurship.
When she’s not at Escape Oshkosh, Britney enjoys spending time outdoors boating and camping, as well as watching sports. She proudly considers herself a Yooper and still has strong ties to her Upper Peninsula roots.
One of Britney’s favorite parts of owning and operating Escape Oshkosh is watching guests enjoy themselves. She says there is rarely a day that goes by without a funny moment, and she loves seeing the excitement, teamwork, and reactions that make every group unique.
Her advice for first-time players is to pay close attention to what you’ve already unlocked. Often, the key to the next puzzle is hidden within the items you’ve just discovered. If she could assemble the ultimate escape room team, it would include Albert Einstein, Jennifer Aniston, and Caitlin Clark—a combination of intelligence, personality, and competitiveness that would make for an unforgettable game.
Angelica- Manager
Angelica first joined Escape Oshkosh in 2018 and recently returned after taking time off to raise her children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her kids, hiking, camping, and napping whenever she can.
One of Angelica’s favorite things about working at Escape Oshkosh is the friendly and relaxed atmosphere. She says it’s a great place to work because everyone is welcoming and supportive.
Her current favorite room is Sweet Revenge because it has the highest success rate. She enjoys watching groups celebrate their victories and leave excited after escaping.
If Angelica could create her dream escape room, it would take players on a journey through the human body, inspired by The Magic School Bus. Her advice for first-time players is simple: communicate with your team. One of her funniest memories is watching guests ignore an “Employees Only” sign and accidentally shut off the power to the entire escape room facility by flipping the breaker box.
Summer- Game Master
Summer has been part of the Escape Oshkosh team since March 2021. Over the past five years, she has enjoyed helping guests have memorable experiences while becoming an expert on the rooms and puzzles.
When she’s not at work, Summer enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and binge-watching her favorite shows and movies. She loves experiencing new things and finding her next favorite destination or restaurant.
One of Summer’s favorite things about working at Escape Oshkosh is the atmosphere, the rooms, and getting to watch groups work together to solve challenges. Her favorite room is Submerged, both because of its difficulty and because it was the first room she learned as a Game Master.
If she could create her dream escape room, it would be something extremely scary. Her advice for first-time players is to avoid overthinking and not touch everything in sight. One of her funniest memories is when a group of teenagers arrived dressed in chicken costumes and Batman masks—a sight she says is still one of the funniest things she’s seen while working at Escape Oshkosh.
Emily- Game Master
Emily joined the Escape Oshkosh team in November 2025 while pursuing a degree in Rehabilitation Science. When she’s not working or studying, she enjoys spending time with friends, going for walks, playing tennis, and relaxing with her roommate’s cat.
A self-proclaimed mini golf champion, Emily says she has never lost a game. If she could design her dream escape room, it would be set inside the living room of a television show, bringing players directly into the world of their favorite characters.
One of Emily’s favorite things about working at Escape Oshkosh is her coworkers and the entertaining dynamics that unfold during games. She enjoys watching teams work together—and sometimes turn on each other—as the pressure of the escape room experience kicks in.
Emily’s current favorite room is Secrets of the Shamrock. Her advice for first-time players is to communicate everything you find and make sure to examine every detail. If she could assemble the perfect escape room team, it would include Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory to solve the puzzles and Khloé Kardashian to keep her company along the way.
Laura- Game Master
Laura joined the Escape Oshkosh team in January 2026 while attending college and pursuing a degree in Psychology. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, spending time with friends, and hanging out with her dogs. As an avid reader, she has built an impressive personal library of more than 400 books.
If Laura could design her dream escape room, it would be a horror-themed adventure, such as a haunted house or murder mystery. Her advice for first-time players is simple: don’t be afraid to use your hints—they’re there to help make the experience enjoyable.
One of Laura’s favorite things about working at Escape Oshkosh is the atmosphere. She loves being part of an environment that is always fun, positive, and filled with excitement. One of her funniest memories involves a customer who jokingly got down on their knees and referred to her as a god while asking for a hint.
Laura’s favorite room is Secrets of the Shamrock, which she loves for its colorful design and, of course, Lenny. If she could assemble the ultimate escape room team, it would include Emma Watson, Bridgit Mendler, Jennifer Lawrence, Nathan Fillion, and Yoda for a perfect mix of intelligence, humor, and puzzle-solving skills.
Kyley- Game Master
Kyley joined the Escape Oshkosh team in November 2025. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends, playing video games, and tackling word searches. She also has a strong interest in cars and loves learning everything she can about them.
If Kyley could design her dream escape room, it would either be incredibly scary or completely over-the-top and cheesy. Her advice for first-time players is not to be afraid to ask for a clue if your team gets stuck, especially if you haven’t made much progress in the first ten minutes.
One of Kyley’s favorite memories from working at Escape Oshkosh involves a group of fraternity guys who suddenly started screaming “67!” at the top of their lungs for absolutely no apparent reason. It’s still one of the funniest moments she’s witnessed while watching a game.
If she could build the perfect escape room team, it would include Sherlock Holmes, the cast of The Big Bang Theory, all of her friends, and even her cat for moral support. With a team like that, she’d be ready for any challenge.
Becky- Game Master
Becky recently joined the Escape Oshkosh team in August. She is 24 years old and has graduated from college with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Outside of work, she enjoys arts and crafts—especially beadwork—and spending time watching movies with her friends.
One of Becky’s favorite things about working at Escape Oshkosh is watching guests work their way through the games. She especially enjoys seeing the moment when a group finally figures out a challenging puzzle and the excitement and sense of accomplishment that comes with it.
Her current favorite room is Secrets of the Shamrock because she loves the colorful rainbow and gold aesthetic. If Becky could design her own dream escape room, she would go in a completely different direction with a cyberpunk or futuristic theme.
For anyone trying an escape room for the first time, Becky recommends paying close attention to all the details because it can be easy to overlook something that is right in front of you. If she could assemble her perfect escape room team, she would bring along the Mystery Gang from Scooby-Doo—a group with plenty of experience solving mysteries!
Hannah- Game Master
Hannah just joined the Escape Oshkosh team. She is 18 years old and currently studying Secondary Education. Outside of work and school, Hannah enjoys golfing, and she used to live in Indiana.
Hannah’s favorite part about working at Escape Oshkosh is the staff and being part of the team. Her current favorite room is Magic Castle because she enjoys the combination of challenging puzzles and a fun atmosphere.
If Hannah could create her dream escape room, she would design one with a school theme—a fitting choice for someone studying education! Her biggest piece of advice for first-time escape room players is simple: don’t over-analyze. Sometimes the solution is much easier than you think.
If Hannah could assemble her perfect escape room team, she would bring along her dad, her best friends, and Albert Einstein for some extra puzzle-solving power. With a combination of people she enjoys being around and one of history’s greatest minds, she’d have a pretty strong team!
